Do you think it's important to understand what it is you are feeling? Why? What can happen if you don't?

  1. Understanding what you are feeling is one of the most important things that you have to do in life. You need to know whether you are mad at your new friend for hanging out with your old friend or jealous of that new friend and their friendship with your old friend. You need to know whether you are happy that you got a good grade, or if you should be upset because your friend failed. You need to know if your FRIEND'S bad grade should make you upset, even if you did good. If you just act like your really happy when that happens, you may lose a friendship. I know how to tell what emotions I am feeling becasue I always tell myself the truth. I would never tell myself that I was okay with my FRIEND'S attitude if I'm really not. If you pretend to be okay with something when your not, you're lying to yourself.

  2. Yes I think it is important to understand what you are feeling because if you don't figure out what you are feeling or stressing over then you may start being alone and may even start smoking or drinking to fix this situation. None of these are solutions to fixing your problems. There is no excuse for not telling someone about your feelings. If you tell someone responsible and trustworthy about your issues then they may be able to help you out and relate to the same situation that you may be in. If you dont fix your problem then you may start leaving your PARENT'S HOUSE or disrespecting your MOTHER'S RULES. This may be a long term problem but a short term issue. The first thing you should worry about is yourself being depressed or agrovated. ~Elizabeth Andress~

  3. i think it is important to understand what your feeling because if you don't know how you're feeling the you won't know what to do when your feeling something. If you know how your feeling then you'll know what to do about it. It's always good to know what you're feeling. If you don't know what your feeling then things could wrong and you won't know what to do with it or how to feel a different better way!

  5. My opinion is that it is important to understand what ur feelings are beacuse it wouldn't do anything for u if u were sad and u didn't know it. If u don't know ur sad than u may be hurt on the inside and not know how to deal with it. Then u will be stuck with that hurt feeling for the rest of ur life. not good!

  6. I think it somewhat is important to know how you are feeling. For instance, sometimes you are mad at something you did or saw and you are like that, lets say, for a week or a couple of days. You need to know, that the way you have been feeling really shows you your actions. You may suddlendy reconize this by the way your parents or peers have been treating you. These actions may exclude you from some socail activites, and you don't want to miss that. So you sometimes, really want to understand your's and OTHER'S FEELINGS. It will be the best thing for you and others.

  7. I do think it's important to to understand what we are feeling. If you don't both GUYS' and GIRLS' will deny what they are feeling. This is bad because your then holding all your emotions inside. It's better to show the way you feel by the way you act.

  8. Yes, I think it's very important to understand your emotions. I think if you don't understand what your feeling, I think that means that you don't know what's going on in your life. Because if you don't know what YOUR emotions are going on about, than how do you know what happened in YOUR life to make it happen? If you don't know, I believe that you could get stress, deprestion, even more! These are not the best things for you, so that is what I have on the subject!

  10. Yes, it is very important to know what you are feeling. Some of the time, I have no idea what I am feeling. When I was at CHOP'S hospital, I had to tell CHOPS' doctors what I was feeling. BUT I DIDN'T KNOW! Therefore, they had to do a test on me to see what I was dealing with in my body. It turned out that I had meningitis and encephalitis which attacked my pancreas and now I have diabetes. If you don't know what you are feeling, it can hurt you and help you in different ways. When I had meningitis and encephalitis, it hurt me. When I was in the hospital it helped me because it lifted that big fat chip of my shoulder.

If you don't know what you are feeling, it can hurt you and the people around you.

  11. For Emotions you really should understand how they are making you feel. If you don't understand you feelings you could wind up hurting someone ELSE'S feelings. As some of the GIRLS' emotions in our grade are not really bad. Everyone is pretty much really happy:) If you don't understand your emotions you should get someone to tell you what they think you are feeling. If you are not sure of what you are feeling just ask someone about what they think. If you want to talk to someone you trust you can ask for your MOM'S opinion, or even your DAD'S.

  12. I do think it is important to know what I'm feeling. If I don't, then it becomes difficult to fix how I'm feeling if it becomes a problem. If it is not solved (the bad emotions), then you eventually go through depression or worse. If you choose not to solve the problem, hey, the decision is YOURS. Not everybody ELSE'S.

  13. A PERSON'S feelings are very important. They help make your decisions. If you're in a good mood, you will want to have fun and help people. Unlike if PEOPLES' emotions are not good, they'll not want to associate with other friends.

  14. I think it's important to understand what you are feeling because what if you start yelling at a friend? If you don't know why, would they forgive? Probably not. Your BODY'S feelings can be out of control, so you should know whats wrong. Some FRIENDS' relationships have issues because of this.

  15. I think it's important to know what you're feeling because if you don't, you might get frustrated with yourself for not knowing and you could get upset. YOUR emotions can make you feel a lot of different things, so it's important to know what they are. It can be important to know what other PEOPLE'S feelings are, too because you could help them with whatever is bothering them. So, it all goes back to knowing what you're feeling.

  16. I think it is important to know what you are felling because that you are not stressed out. Your MIND's fear shows through your actual unknown emotions. This can sometimes be dangerous. Your body will feel it needs to do something to figure out what it is feeling and that can sometimes be dangerous.

  17. Its important to know what you felling, because if you dont then what is the problem. You won't know whats wrong until you figure out what you are going through. It's like when you go through a tunnel on a train. You won't go on that train ride of emotions until you know wheres its going. If you do, you can find out whats at the end of the tunnel. If its a relationship going wrong or a problem at home. If you figure out where that "train" is going you can start to see the "light at the end of the tunnel. Yet you have to remember that the "train's tracks" can only take you so far on your path to find your answer to your problem.

  18. I do believe it is important to understand what it is your are feeling. The reason is if you are feeling something bad then you may confront what might be making you feel this way. Altough if you have some good FEELING'S then you might do what made you feel good again like study. If you are not to do this then you may take out your FEELINGS' in a bad way and do what it is that made you feel bad again. Or not do what made you feel good again.

  19. Yes, I do think it's important to understand your emotions. If you don't, than they will build up inside of you. Eventully, you will become a upset and angry person. Your FRIENDS' feelings will be hurt from your mood and actions twords them. As a result you will have no friends in the end and live a sad life. That's why it is important to understand and deal with your emotions.

  20. I think that is it very important to understand what you are feeling. It's important because you can think about it and talk to others about it. That PERSON'S friends and family can help them feel better when they are sad or upset. If a person didn't understand what they are feeling, they would be able to talks to others. I always thought that if you are unsure about your emotions, that PERSON'S friends and family could always help them.

  21. Yes, I do think that it is important to understand your feelings or emotions! The reason why I say this is because if you don't understand your feelings then later on in life you could get kind of confused. But, if you do then you know when to feel sad at the right time, you know when to feel angry, and you know when you should be happy.

  22. I think it is super important to have feelings. It's important because if you didn't have feelings your emotions would be plain and boring. If you don't have emotions, and you are having a conversation with someone, they will think you have no personality because you won't be able to express any of your feelings because you have no emotion!

  24. I think it is really important you understand what you are feeling because if you don’t, you won’t able to resolve the problem that is making you feel this way. So if you don’t know what you’re feeling you might end up doing something you will regret later. For example, if you have mixed feelings about something and you miss SCHOOL’S DANCE because of how you feel you might regret it later.

What we are learning in health is values. It is extremley important to know them. Once you understand your values it is easy to see what you are feeling.Knowing you emotions is great because you can deal with them if needed,or you can improve the way you are living. Their are things that could happen but you should know your emotions anyway.

  29. If you don't understand your feeling you are missing everything. Your emotions are to understand and they express who you are. During softball on MR.G'S team I show competitiveness on the field everyday I step on that field. Yes a joke a round here or there but no one can be serious all the time. It's also important to understand someone ELES'S feeling because maybe you can relate to that or help them out go through rough times.

  43. I do think it’s important to know what you are feeling because then you are second guessing yourself. Then you don’t know what you’re feeling and you can’t solve your problem. If you don’t know what you are feeling than problems will come up. You have to really think to yourself, what am I feeling? What can I do for myself? Than tell someone. The best thing for you to do is to tell someone you trust how you are feeling. Then you will show no emotion what’s so ever so than you are stuck!

  44. It is obviously VERY important to know your emotions because if you don't who will help you??? who will get past the way your feeling. As a teenager we now have many more responsibilities that we didn't have when we were younger and learning, understanding, and controlling our emotions is definatly one of them. The one person you can always count on to bring you up from the dark hole sometimes is you your parents and your best friend (if any). Theres always gonna be a consiquence for not know how to solve the puzzle of your emotions and if you don't learn to control your emotions you could lose your friends and a whole lot of other stuff so if you think your sad or if u know your sad talking to someone so u dont wind up hurting your social life.

  53. I believe that you should figure out what ur feeling so u can help yourself get through it. I really honestly don't think you will get depreased or go to other bad options like alcohol. But it is a possibilty depending on how bad your situation with your feelings is. And you will not have a concequence from all of your feelings from someone else because YOU are the only one who can feel it, YOU yourself. But your concequence can come from yourself you would keep that feeling inside and it won't go away sometimes. Unless you share your feelings you might hurt yourself by refraining the past. But if you share your feelings then it just might help. Wouldn't you want to share your feelings?

  96. I think knowing a PERSON'S feelings is imporant. If you dont know wht your feeling then all your emotions will build up inside and then one day it will just go all down from there. If you do know your feelings then your life is pretty much normal! I also agree with danielle! Good job DP!

  97. Yes, I do think that it's important to know how you feel because if you don't know you will be very confused. Sometimeswhen I'm confused it's most likely because of my feelings. Sometimes when my sister is confused it's beause of my SISTER'S FEELINGS. Alot of my FRIEND'S FEELINGS do the same.

  99. Hannah-

What an excellent analogy to use with the trains and the light at the end of the tunnel! You really express a person's journey of uncovering our won emotions...

  101. I have a question! How come when we are all on the blog we are all a totally different person??? For example, (I'm gonna use names that are not in our grade.) Say Paco had a problem and had all his emotions inside him. Although the only person he told his emotions to was Tricia! Yet he had to do the blog, just like ours and he vented out to all to all of us!!! What is soooo different from ""cyberworld" and reality?

P.S.- I think a lot of you guys should take that question under consiteration!

  104. I think it is important to understand what your feeling because it can help you understand who you are. I know that personally i am very sensitive and i know by personal experience that not knowing what your feeling emotionally will only make your sad/angry experiencing worse, because you cannot solve problems without knowing what is the cause.

  105. Yes, I think it is important to understand what you are feeling.Because if you dont you cant vent your feelings. SOMEONE'S felling are not to be kept to their self. PEOPLE'S feelings are good. If you dont express them you could grow up to be a crazy terrist.
