Blog: #20 First they came...
In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to left to speak up.

Blog #11: Survival?
His wife is dead, Kira's uncle will most likely have his children given to other village women. As cruel as this seems, it is an accepted practice among the villagers. In the village, physical survival is more important than th emotional needs. How does this differ from our society? What is more important to you, physical needs or emotional well-being?
Use subject and object pronouns. Be sure to include the antecedent first.
